BriteCore, leading provider of next-generation core software solutions for property and casualty insurers, is pleased to announce that it has successfully obtained its Service Organization Control (SOC) 2 Type 1 Certification with no exceptions, after undergoing an external audit of the organization's information security practices.
The SOC 2® certification is widely recognized as a worldwide assurance for the validation of an organization’s information security practices. This certification demonstrates that BriteCore’s information security programs, policies and procedures meet a rigorous set of industry-accepted standards and are becoming a key requirement when selecting cloud services providers.
Jonathan Kitchin, Senior Vice President of Operations at BriteCore, said, “Ensuring the availability, integrity, and confidentiality of our customer’s information is at the heart of our mission. This certification milestone reflects BriteCore's focused investment in information security and compliance and our ongoing efforts to meet the security and compliance requirements of the most demanding enterprise IT departments.”
Over the past two years, BriteCore has made ongoing investments in people, processes, and technologies to elevate and mature its security practices. At both the corporate and product level, team members enhanced procedures, followed rigorous operating protocols, and validated that both process and technical controls met or exceeded best practices and industry standards.
